The Results are in for a Coombe Mill Xmas

Posted on November 4th, 2015

Back in September I set up a competition offering a chance to Win Christmas at Coombe Mill. Every year I have loved the excitement of a Christmas offer, but this is the first year I have taken that offer from a giveaway to a competition. I asked:

“What a Coombe Mill Christmas Look would like in your mind?”

The response in numbers was very disappointing compared to the thousands entering to win a giveaway in previous years. Just 25 entered. However when I looked at the quality of the entries I was blown away by the time, thought and effort that must have gone into creating these blog posts, Pinterest boards and videos. Suddenly I was glad it wasn’t me making the choice between these creative entries. This was the onerous task of Farmer Nick and The Boy and Me. My huge thanks to them both for the time and deliberation I know they both took in reaching their decision.

Christmas at Coombe Mill

I asked them both independently for a 1st choice, 2nd choice and 3rd choice praying there would be an obvious winner from doing this. I’m delighted to say there was.

And the winner is ……

I am thrilled to announce that Pamela Agar of Herne Hill Mum is my Christmas Winner with a wonderful post incorporating this clever and charming video we all loved.

My 4 runners up were so close with wonderful and creative posts that made the competition so tight.

The runner up entries in no particular order:

Karen from Stopping at Two A beautiful heartfelt post

Karen from Would Like to be A clever recipe

Clara and Kirsty of My Two Mums Embracing a full Coombe Mill experience

Tracey of Green Mums Blog Voice over by Lily makes this video entry so endearing.

I would like to offer all 4 runners up a chance to book Christmas with us at half price in any property they chose subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply as per the competition post.

Thank you so much to everyone who entered, it really was a privilege to read all the entries. I hope we might welcome you at Coombe Mill one day in the future and wish you and your families a very Happy Christmas wherever you are spending it this year.
