CoombeMill in 5 Colours!

by CoombeMill 8 August 2012 09:00

Capture The Colour...

The lovely clairejustineo has tagged me in an amazing competition by Travel Supermarket.com. They say a picture paints a thousand words. Well, rather than asking us to write a five thousand word blog post, they are inviting us to produce a blog post with up to 5 photos that really do 'Capture the Colour'.

They are offering the winner £2000 to spend on travel and the five runners up an iPad each, so there are some amazing prizes up for grabs.

The Rules

All you have to do is on your blog post, post 5 pictures that captures the following 5 colours - Blue, Green, Yellow, White and Red tell them where the photo was taken and try to include any other additional information about the moment the photo was taken, what you could see, smell, hear, feel and perhaps a witty caption about that photo or trip in general. If you've written a post about that trip on your blog in the past, be sure to link to it so people can find out more! Then tag 5 more bloggers to do the same.

Photos and Colour is something I love, my whole website screams colour so thank you Claire and Travel Supermarket, as this is right up my street. My entry covers all different scenes from right here on our colourful farm.

Green

This was such a happy day. It was one of the Coombe Mill garden parties with all our friends and holiday guests in celebration of The Royal Wedding. All the children skipped around on the lawn and in the play areas while the adults chatted over a glass of wine and our amazing BBQ feast. See more about the day here.

Blue

I am so torn on this one, our beautiful North Cornwall beaches on a Summers Day with the Sea and sky or the highlight of Coombe Mill, Farmer Nick's Little Helpers with their blue hats on the blue Tractor! To keep in my theme I have gone with the tractor. It is the main reason family's holiday with us after all!
