Water Mill

Child friendly farm cottage - sleeps 7

Converted from the original 16th Century Water Mill, this is a spacious and welcoming cottage with period features and all modern facilities. A minstrel gallery and large stylish wood burner give a contemporary feel while the open stonework retains the cottage charm. The cottage feels lighter than you might expect with attractive sky lights to the living/ dining area and plenty of windows throughout. The layout works well with grandparents or 2 small families.

Upstairs

Water Mill has a double dedroom and triple bedroom upstairs together with family bathroom.

Downstairs

There is a further large king size double ensuit with separate downstairs toilet.

The open plan living / dining room with high ceilings to the minstrel gallery gives a great sense of space while the kitchen is separate room.

Outside

The enclosed front garden is a sun trap to watch the world go by while the children play

Disabled Access

Water Mill has a downstairs bedroom and shower room and ramped access from the car park. However the shower room is not a wet room and not disable friendly.

Towels

Please bring your own, if you forget we do hire towels at £1 per towel, if you know you want to hire ours (they are not the best!) please pre book as we do not have enough for everyone!

Electric

There is a pre payment meter taking £1 coins in every property

Log Burners

We charge £15 for use per week and this includes a starter kit and free logs for the week. No coal please in Water Mill as this will crack the wood burner.

Cots, Mosses baskets and High chairs

£5 each. Please bring your own cot linen.

Dogs

Dogs are charged at £25.00 per week for 1 pet and £15.00 per week for a second. (Sorry, no dogs in the school summer holidays). Cats are not permitted.

Cleaning Service

A mid week clean can be booked at £12 per hour (minimum of two hours).

Baby Sitting

If you fancy an evening out, just let us know and we will try and book a baby sitter for you.
