Towels

Please bring your own, if you forget we do hire towels at £1 per towel, if you know you want to hire ours (they are not the best!) please pre book as we do not have enough for everyone!

Electric

There is a pre payment meter taking £1 coins in every property (except Millers House where electric is inclusive). All heaters, water and appliances are electric.

Log Burners

These are in all cottages and Scandinavian lodges. We charge £15 for use per week and this includes a starter kit and free logs for the week.

Cots and High chairs

£5 each. Please bring your own cot linen.

Blackout Blinds

£2.50 a room. Ideal in the middle of Summer when days are longer than bed times! 

Z bed

An extra child sleeping on a z bed in a 1 bedroom property is charged at £30. No extra beds or people are permitted in larger properties.

Dogs

Dogs are charged at £25.00 per week for 1 pet and £15.00 per week for a second. (Sorry, no dogs in the school summer holidays). Cats are not permitted.

Grocery Delivery

If you'd like your holiday grocery shopping arranged our local stores can take your order and deliver it directly to your accommodation prior to your arrival. Details are sent following receipt of your final balance. Supermarket deliveries can be problematic and are not recommended.

Home Cooking Service

We have a large chest freezer in our reception, which is kept stocked with freshly prepared main dishes, desserts and cakes. Just help yourself when you arrive and relax.

Reception

Open from 8.30am - 7:00pm. There is a large fridge restocked daily with milk, bread, eggs, butter, fruit juices and clotted cream for your convenience. Animal feed, post cards, kindling and other items are also for sale.

Cleaning Service

A mid week clean can be booked at £12 per hour (minimum of two hours).

Fishing equipment

Nets, adult and children’s rods for hire.
