| Excellent Free Fishing |
| Free fishing is available all year round for the exclusive use of our guests but guests must hold an appropriate rod licence. We have two fishing lakes and private river fishing along the banks of the River Camel. There are few limitations on the type of tackle or bait you use or the time of day or night you choose to fish, just come and enjoy! |

| Trout Lake - We stock the lake regularly with rainbow trout so there are always plenty of fish from 1lb upwards. Youngsters and beginners will have great fun and a seasoned fisherman will have no difficulty finding something to put on the barbecue! |
| Carp Lake - This is an extremely pretty spring fed lake that is sensitively managed to ensure the fish are healthy. It is well stocked with carp up to 20lbs providing a tranquil backdrop for the holiday angler. The location is quiet and secluded yet close to the accommodation. |
| River Fishing - As winter arrives so do the salmon that return up the river streaming past Coombe to provide challenging wild game fishing late into December. The sea trout season runs from 1 April to 30 September and the salmon season extends to 15 December. Winter Breaks... |
| Fishing Tackle - Rods, nets and basic tackle are kept at reception and there is an extensive range of equipment available at a tackle shop nearby, or please feel free to bring your own. |
