Plenty for Children to Enjoy

The morning 'feed run' is a wonderful chance to meet other families staying at Coombe Mill. Many families regularly return to Coombe Mill on the same week each year to pick up on established friendships.

The wide range of child friendly animals makes the feed run so interesting and educational. Ponies, fallow deer, alpacas, lovable miniature donkeys, Gloucester old spot pigs, Jacobs sheep, pigmy goats, peacocks, chickens, guinea fowl, ducks and the most popular of all the rabbits. The tractor rides for the children to feed the animals run all year round with Farmer Nick and Ted on hand to answer all your questions. Come in spring and see new born babies, in the summer help bottle feeding any orphans and in winter receive a warm welcome from all the animals on those frosty mornings!

The animals welcome visits throughout the day. Guests staying are free to wander responsibly round the farm enjoying and feeding the animals in their own time.
