Tamar

Self catering riverside lodge Sleeps 4

Tamar riverside lodge offers budget family accommodation for up to 4 people plus a cot. The lodge is very small, semi detatched with Tiddy and close to the river. The location of Tamar gives it some of the finest views from the large living room window and veranda across the river and up the valley. It is very reasonably priced and makes a great base from which to enjoy all the fun of the farm. Tamar works best for families with slightly older children who can use the lodge as a base but take advantage of the central location to go off and explore the farm and play areas.

Tamar Lodge Layout

Tamar, like all the riverside lodges is all on one level. The small living / dining room is the hub of the lodge from which the double bedroom and small bunk bed room are accessed. there is space for a travel cot in either bedroom, but it is a squeeze. The Bathroom is also acessed from the living room and has a bath with shower over.

The small working kitchen has all the essentials but non of the extras due to a lack of space, so no dishwasher, washing machine or deep freeze. There is a small ice cube compartment above the fridge and we have an excellent laundry with washing machines, tumble driers located nearby.

Outside

Tamar has its own fenced veranda with table and chairs to emnjoy the stunning views and sounds of the river Camel. The slope from the path and steps to the veranda make Tamar unsitable for the infirm or disabled.
