Valency

Self Catering riverside lodge Sleeps 2 or 3

Valency riverside lodge offers detached budget holiday accommodation for 2 people, but is spacious enough to accommodate a child on a z bed or baby in a cot in the dressing area. The lodge is fully open plan, light and airy with stunning views over the river and up the valley from the large living room window and veranda. It is very reasonably priced and makes a great base from which to enjoy your holiday with all the fun of the farm and play areas and fishing close by.

Valency Lodge Layout

Like all the riverside lodges it is all on one level but has steps up to the veranda to enter. The front door opens to the living / dining area with large windows to enjoy the views. To the right is a dressing area and through an arch the double bed. From here the bathroom is accessed with full size bath and shower over. A curtain divides the bedroom from the living area so not sound proof if you have a light sleeping toddler to put to bed early.

The small working kitchen leads off the dining area with all the essentials but non of the extras due to a lack of space, so no dishwasher, washing machine, or deep freeze. There is a small ice cube compartment above the fridge and we have an excellent laundry with washing machines and tumble driers located nearby.

Outside

Valency has as its own fenced veranda with table and chairs to enjoy the stunning views and sounds of the river Camel. Open lawns are on one side with Tiddy the other side. The slope from the path and steps to the veranda make Valency unsuitabe for the infirm and disabled.
