The Shop

Coming to the Coombe Mill reception shop is like stepping back in time! There is an intercom to ring if you need assistance, otherwise you just go on in, help yourself and leave us a note in the book! We have run this honesty system for years and find it works for everyone. The Shop is open from 8.30am to 7pm and we just settle your bill on departure.

Home Cooking

Our large chest freezer has home cooked freshly frozen meals and delicious puddings. They are in portions for 1, 2 or 4 people and are easy to defrost and heat. Recipes range from family classics like Shepherd’s Pie and Crumble to more adventurous Venison in Red Wine and Sticky Toffee Pudding. With vegetarian options, fish dishes and bags of homemade scones there is something for everyone; Ideal for when you arrive or after a long day out at the beach.

In the Fridge

For sale in the fridge milk, bread, eggs, yogurt, clotted cream, butter and fruit juice. The milkman calls regularly to replenish the goods.

Other Produce

Homemade cakes in a variety of flavours for sale as well as animal feed.

Free to borrow

A range of handy bits and pieces are free to borrow to save you space in the car. Here are just a few: Toys, games, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, books for adults and children and toddler story picture books, magazines, information leaflets and maps on the local area, fishing nets, buckets and spades, farm overalls, real nappy packs, DVDs
