First Aid for all the family

Posted on July 13th, 2015

As a business offering Farm Holidays to families with young children we are all too aware of the need to provide advice on hygiene and safety. This is especially true on the morning tractor and trailer rides to feed the animals. Farmer Nick has a well rehearsed speech to parents and children on their first morning which includes remembering to wash hands at the end of the session and advice for pregnant mothers with our sheep and goats. However we all know children are terrors for popping fingers and thumbs into their mouths and lasting a full hour and a half of farm fun without doing this or running and falling in the fields is frankly expecting too much! We all have a good built in immune system and while I am a great believer in a little muck helps strengthen this we do need to be careful too. On the front of the trailer Nick always carries a full pump dispenser of liquid hand sanitizer for all such eventualities and the guests often help themselves to a squirt after touching something unsavoury.

Introducing NatraSan

NatraSan First Aid Spray

Our farm big while plastic dispenser is far from attractive so when I came across NatraSan First Aid Spray I was happy to give it a go and it is a definite improvement on the front of the tractor for our guests and is already proving popular during the morning feed run.

Using NatraSan in the Rabbits at Coombe Mill Holidays

NatraSan is 100% natural and made from <5% Hypochlorous acid, which is produced naturally by white blood cells to aid healing and fight infections and bacteria.

As well as being perfect for here on the farm it would be ideal to pop in your changing bag as it can be used to disinfect dummies, toys, high chairs, even food if necessary. It’s also used for first aid purposes, so any cuts and grazes on little one’s hands – just a quick spray.

This product is the first of its kind to have EU approval to be sold to consumers and kills 99.9999% of germs. It is pH neutral, non-irritating and free from alcohol, preservatives and fragrances.

It uses the body’s own natural antiseptic and even works on acne and spots so my teens have been seen testing it out too.

NatraSan in Use as antiseptic spray

This really is such a good all round versatile product that is suitable for all the family and at £10 for 250ml it could be most of your whole medical kit in one bottle! this is definitely one to take on holiday cutting down your packing with the one product does more feature.
