Just in the middle of the winter cold snap comes a delightful new story book for little ones to cuddle up and read at night. We love the new book Erik the Lone Wolf by Sarah Finan brought to you by our book friends Quarto Kids.
But Wolves stay in packs
Erik the lone Wolf is a clever tale of a growing wolf cub that feels crowded out by the rules of the pack. He is tired of being told what to do, told what he isn’t allowed to do and feeling trapped by those who care about him. So one day he takes matters into his own hands and sneaks off away from the pack to “Go it alone” and find unrestricted adventure.
Because Family Matters
However life isn’t necessary all plain sailing – or skiing in Erik’s case! Erik soon finds he is in need of his pack and going it alone isn’t all he envisaged. This charming read is perfectly set out with just a few words per page and plenty of captivating illustrations to keep little ones enthralled. Underlying the adventure is an endearing motto of family loyalty and trust. We feel this is a perfect reassuring message for any youngster.
