Farm Fun Saturday

Another glorious week for weather, cold but so beautiful. All our muddy puddles have turned to ice rinks providing a different form of outdoor fun for the children. Climbing the trees has taken their fancy this week too, I think it was after Felix showed his famous Eden project Trick a couple of weeks back! https://www.coombemill.com/blog/post/2012/01/22/Silent-Sunday.aspx. So here are the gang enjoying the winter sunshine on the farm and just letting off steam being kids

Keep Linking up into February

Thank you for all the lovely outdoor play snaps you linked up in January, a great collection despite the cold and often dreary days. Children generally feel so much better for some fresh air regardless of the weather as do I, so please keep it going, grab the badge and link up here each week. Another Coombe Mill hat to give away at the end of the month.

Family Feed Run

What a glorious Saturday morning, frosty, cold and sunny. To me, this is the very best of winter weather. All 8 of us trooped out onto the farm together to feed the animals. We have one of those rare few days with no guests to share our beautiful farm with now until the back end of the week; it is strange but lovely too.

I love the togetherness of having us all out on the farm, it’s real family bonding time for us and something we all enjoy.

This was quite amusing to watch, the goats were so keen to get their noses in the bucket that the boys were having quite a struggle to ensure everyone had their fair share!

I do hope where ever you are you too will be out making the most of the sunshine and linking up with me here on Country Kids. Any outdoor activities involving the kids is great, weather a walk in the park or fun in the garden, please grab the badge and join in.
