Several cottages and lodges are accessible and have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms as well as ramped access, however none of the properties have wet rooms or disabled showers / baths.
Around the outside of the properties is accessible by wheelchair but not the farm.
There is a supervised daily tractor and trailer ride to feed the many child friendly farm animals 6 days a week. A truly hands on opportunity for all ages! Access to the animals encouraged all day.
These run each evening (excluding Saturday) weather permitting. Running time changes throughout the year.
4pm on a Friday join our crafting sessions to round off the week when 3 or more families are participating.
Private fishing for Coombe Mill guests only at no charge.
Nets, adult and children’s rods free to hire from Farmer Nick.
BBQsPurpose built BBQs and portable BBQs with free logs along with an indoor BBQ hut
In your own time you are free to explore the fairy Garden, create a camp in the Den building zone or take a walk along our wildlife trail to spot the replica animals hidden in the wilder parts of the farm.
Our reception is open 8.30am – 7pm and well stocked with maps, leaflets, guides and DVDs. Childrens games, toys, wellingtons and overalls are all free to borrow. There is an intercom to the owners house (within Coombe Mill) for any out of hours emergencies.
Wi Fi access is free however mobile signal is patchy unless you can connect via our wi fi.
