Farmer Emma’s Little Helpers Club

Join the Sunday Morning Tractor ride at 9am, meet Farmer Emma and the other children staying. Designed for Children age 18 months – 10 years, you will receive a free little helper’s cap and be encouraged to help out each morning with the farm chores from feeding the animals to helping drive the tractor. Older children always welcome, watch out though as you may be expected to do more! The morning ‘feed run’ is packed with farm fun and wonderful chance to meet other families staying at Coombe Mill. Many families regularly return to Coombe Mill on the same week each year to pick up on established friendships.

The wide range of child friendly animals makes the feed run so interesting and educational. Ponies, fallow deer, alpacas, pigs, Jacobs sheep, pigmy goats, hen, chickens, guinea fowl, ducks and the most popular of all the Guinea Pigs. The tractor rides for the children to feed the animals run all year round with Farmer Emma on hand to answer all your questions. Come in spring and see new born babies, in the summer help bottle feeding any orphans, book September for piglets and in winter receive a warm welcome from all the animals on those frosty mornings! Check out our seasonal animal births in more detail here
