While the children play, parents can enjoy the master bedroom en-suite with its massive 6ft bed or relax in the light, airy living room. As an eco-friendly Self Catering Lodge North Cornwall, it boasts solar-powered hot water, a wood-burning stove, and top-tier insulation.

Outside, the enclosed garden and veranda offer a safe space for young families, all within a short stroll from the heart of the village and the historic Old Inn.

What’s included

Coombe Meadow offers acres of open space to explore in a peaceful countryside setting. 

Fishing – We have a well-stocked coarse fishing lake and private fishing on the River Camel. It is a tranquil setting perfect for fishermen of all abilities. (Rod licence required).

Multiple outdoor play areas – toddler trikes, swings for different ages, slides, zip wire. Sandpit with mini diggers. Badminton, football and cricket. Crazy golf course with 7 holes.

Indoor play areas – games room with table tennis, pool table, table football and air hockey. Soft play barn with ball pit for children age 5 and under.

Barbeque area and pizza oven – large outdoor barbecue and pizza oven available for your use. 15-seater indoor barbeque hut allowing warn and dry barbeques all year.

Activities around the farm – enjoy the wildlife trail, welly walk and fairy garden. Explore the rivers, lakes and paths whilst exploring the 23-acre farm.

Downstairs – Superking bedroom with ensuite showerroom, twin bedroom, family bathroom and open plan kitchen/diner/living room.

Upstairs – One large play room fully stocked with toys.

Outside – Private decking with steps leading down to a private lawn area with views down to the river over the lawns. There is parking to the rear of Polzeath in the Lodges car park. 

Accessibility

There is ramped access up to the private decking as well as a lower gate into the private lawn, with downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms however there are no wet rooms.

Child-Friendly Extras

Cots – One full-size wooden cot available. Any subsequent cots will be travel cots. Please specify which room you would like the cots placed.

High Chairs – Simple wipe down plastic high chairs, no harness included.

Blackout Blinds & Bed Guards – Please specify which room you would like these in.

Stair Gates – We have stair gates built into the property at both the top and bottom of the stairs

Tumble Dryers- We have two communal tumble dryers in our Equipment room for all guests to use.

Extras you might want

Log Burner – £30 per week – Log burner starter set including matches, firelighters, kindling and logs with an unlimited supply of logs throughout your stay.

Dogs – We allow up to two dogs in Polzeath at a cost of £30 for one or £60 for two a week. 

Please be aware that we request no dogs are left behind in the properties and are on a lead around the farm. Ask about which field they’re allowed off the lead in.

Electric Charging Port – We have an electric charging port in the main car park. This is 7.2kw and will incure an extra charge of £100 a week if used.

Groceries

Welcome Essentials – We provide a small starter pack of tea, coffee, and sugar to help you settle in. For everything else, the St Breward Community Shop is just a short stroll away for your daily essentials.

Supermarkets & Deliveries – Major supermarkets in Bodmin, Wadebridge, and Camelford are within easy reach. For ultimate convenience, most major supermarkets deliver directly to our estate. Please ensure you include your Property Name and Booking Name on the order to ensure it finds you.
